10 handy kitchen organisation ideas

I don’t know about you but my kitchen cupboards are so full and disorganised that every time I open the plastic container cupboard lids and containers fly out from every direction!

Here are 10 organisation and space saving ideas to help you (and I) out in the kitchen.

1. Bin bags on rolls.

2. No more lost or messy lids, store them on neatly on the door. Good for saucepan lids too!

3. Stack your pans neatly using a plate rack.

4. Space saving in the pantry.

5. Install baskets under the sink to maximise storage space.

Baskets are great for the dinnerware too.

6. Shower racks are good for extra storage.

7. Clear the bench of paperwork.

8. Utilise doors for storage.

9. Wire magazine holders make perfect storage for onions and potatoes.

10. Utilise the ends of the benches too.

I’m definitely going to try out some of these tips to help me organise my kitchen better!

My kitchen works extremely efficiently and I have never had a problem. However I’ll remember these tips should I come down to a bed sit in future years.

These are simple effective ideas, my favourite is the storage for the potatoes and onions.
For my containers, I store them with the lid on in a big four wheeled box on the pantry floor so I don’t have to hunt for the lid when I need it. Saves time.

I’d love to incorporate some of these ideas in my kitchen, but not sure I can do it. As someone who rents their home, I don’t think I’d get permission to put screws/nails in the doors.

Wow I love these ideas! Our kitchen is in dire need of sorting out, I will try some of these!
I love the idea of using shower caddys, I’ll use that tip in the laundry for all our cleaning stuff too.

My kitchen is in desperate need for some of these tips!
I love space saving & with minimal cupboards it has not been easy!
I would never have thought of using wire magazine holders for onions & potatoes!
But after seeing your photo guess what I’m rushing out to buy tomorrow!
