I like all of the info on the back of the pack, its cool to read a bit about the company on a packet. I always try to buy Australian owned and made products and we are really excited to try this – I love the Carmens muesli bars so have high expectations for quality and taste.
The product looks nice and crispy, really makes me want to eat it (the little clear window on the box is a great idea). I like that the clusters dont have any GM ingredients.
The only thing missing (so far without trying the product) is whether or not this is a low GI product (which is something I look for in a breakfast cereal – having a young baby I often dont get to eat lunch until quite late in the day so need something to give me a few hours of energy) – but by the looks of this (with the oats) it could well be low GI in any case.

I made them measure the exact serving size so we made the most out of the taste test.
The packet does not tear easily (for monsters that do not use scissors) and it split right down the side and has been spilt all over the floor….The dogs like it too xoxo
We all have found it really fresh and tasty and the fruits are HUGE and flavoursome which is a nice surprise as most fruits in cereal taste like the cereal..
I think it is too small a package size and the price to high to buy on a regular basis due to been family of 5, this would go in a day or two especially when the kids like it and might have for afternoon tea… I just cannot justify that…
But, I will definitely buy it when we have people for brunch and occasionally on school holidays when I buy special cereals.

The only negatives are the price and box size, we are a family of 5.
It is really filling however so I would consider using it with another cereal to make it last longer. Might become an occasional treat in our house.
Thanks for the chance to try it and the gift of the muesli bars was a nice surprise. We also loved them, I was hoping to hide them from the kids but no such luck. Really yummy.

On first inspection of the box, it’s a lovely neat, clean and suttle look.
What I really like about Carmens, is that most of their products are Kosher / Halaal.
On opening the package of contents, the smell is just right. Fresh, cinnamon. Yum.
My children aren’t big fans of muesli as they keep telling me it’s way to healthy, but 3 out of 4 loved this product. My 8yo said it’s just right, the cranberry gives the muesli a great taste. My 4 yo just scoffed an entire bowl with milk and my 2 yo, ate the muesli dry and refused to share. My other 4yo, seems to have a problem with anything that has dried ‘bits’ in it, so unfortunately, Carmens never got his vote this time round.
Overall, breakfast was a hit this morning with 3 out 4 kids, mum and dad.
Thanks Carmens for adding some variety into our mornings.

All in all a great morning start but I found that there is a strange after taste??? I’m not sure what it is but after each bite there just seemed to be something lingering but not in a good way. Almost like a ‘stale taste’ The cranberries are fantastic!!! The clusters are nice & crunchy but still that funny after taste.
My family loved the muesli, my kids are sad that the box is empty
I loved the dark chocolate muesli bars better then the cereal & will definitely buy them!!!

I love the clusters, and the different tastes involved. But my favourite thing about the product is that it is Australina made and just such good quality. I dont think we would be able to afford it all the time, but I will definitely be buying it onbce a month or so – and it has inspired me to try all of the other Carmens products! My husband has really been enjoying the muslei bars as well! I cant fault the product, but a larger box option would be good because we would go through a box within a few days. I would love to see some other options that are “Clusters” as well.

I was very excited to receive my package from Carman’s and loved that they went the extra mile and included a thank you gift. I thought that it was a very nice touch.
I think that the packaging is great. It looks good, I think even a little up-market. I like how there is a little window so you can see what the product actually looks like instead of seeing a photo shopped image of what they want it to look like.
The box also has lots of information and they really appear to be encouraging you to contact them. I think I will email them to get the free bag clip.
One idea for the packaging could be a re-sealable bag or maybe include the clip inside the box.
When I opened up the bag I thought the Clusters both looked and smelled very healthy.
After eating them for a few days in a row I found that if there wasn’t enough milk in the bowl they got a bit glunky, but besides that I thought that the Cranberry & Apple Clusters were delicious. The cranberry taste really stood out and I loved that I felt full even after having only a small bowl. So that means at our house they would feed more people and last longer than some of the other cereals.
I also enjoyed them as a snack. I would put a small handful into a little container and pop them in my handbag and snack on them during the day.
My husband has also been enjoying them. He likes the apple taste and says he feels full for most of the morning and it keeps him going until lunch.
Overall I was very impressed with the look, taste, value for money and quality. I would recommend them to my friends (I already have started) and I would buy them as part of my weekly shop.

I love them. It doesn’t take a large serve to fill your tummy and leave you satisfied, and it’s almost like every spoonful is a different taste. Sometimes you’ll get all nuts, sometimes that gorgous muesli, some times a mix of everything!
Try it without milk, you’ll like it better
The box is a little expensive, but it lasts as long as a big box of sugary nonsense costing the same, so it all evens out. I will definitely buy it again!
I wouldn’t mind just a fraction more fruit. Not much, not enough to overwhelm the balance, but the mix falls slightly short.

It actually makes me want to try their other ones. Uncle tobys eat your heart out as these are just 500% better. The flabours and chocolate layer on the bottom are great. The first thing I tried was the bars….OH MY GOODNESS. One was not enough, the taste and the chock full of goodness and the hint of cinnamin and nutmeg was just perfect. These bars are too good for the kids, had to hide them, so I could keep them for myself….LOL…..I even rang the customer service team to find out if you could buy in bulk and theya re very nice and polite and very very helpful.
I don’t like muesli in general, but once again, the balance of the flavours and the texture had me wanting to go back, but alas, the kids had got to it and all 5 of them ate everything in their bowls. So off to the shops I went to get more, and to try different flavours of the bars. The 12 pack of 3 different kinds of bars lasted a day (family of 7). Can see I need to have these as a regular item on our weekly shop.

This Muesli is extreemly yummy. Muselis can be a bit hit and miss with some tasting so boring its not funny and others make you question how healthly they could possibly be as they seem to be layered in “honey” which is more like a layer of toffee. This museli was right on the button for me. I loved how i would get a crunchy nut to chew through. For me this museli had the right amount of sweetness and i think im now addicted to having it mixed in with my yoghurt for my afternoon snack.
what am i going to do when disaster strikes and ive used the entire box????…what then???…oh yeah…Im heading to the Supermarket to buy some more…yum yum yum.

The next few mornings I found it to be a bit better to eat quickly once I got used to it but then I found the sweetness of the cranberries a bit overpowering. I think this would be a good museli to start kids on but is a bit sweet for my tastes.

The enjoyment that came with reviewing started upon open the box, I love that you can see inside the box. Then when I opened up the pack, the smells that came out were fresh and made my mouth water. For me the mark of any great cereal is when you can have it by itself or with milk and still enjoy it! So many these days need things added where as I like to have flavourful food and that’s what I found with these clusters, they were delicious, full of flavour and with the texture and the scent made for an all senses breakfast.
My family reviewed it together I was told it was really yummy mummy can I have more? YUM! and This is delicious! were also so I know the kids enjoyed it and want more, my husband said it was delicious also.
We thoroughly enjoyed them and can’t wait to get more.

The muesli bars were really delicious, probably not what I would usually buy because I try to steer clear from the chocolate ones but these were really good and I would get them as a sometimes snack.

When my box arrived I was really excited, as I opened the box I could smell the aroma of the apples & cranberries along with the cinnamon..As I eagerly poured my first bowl I couldn’t wait & ate some clusters straight from the packet! Absolutely divine is all I can say, each cluster crunches in your mouth with bursts of flavour. This is almost too good, it is even better with milk which gives this a refreshingly powerful pack for first thing in the morning as breakfast. Needless to say this was demolished within a few days in my household…Go Carmens Clusters…

Other than my personal disliking to cinnamon, it is definitely the highest quality Muesli stocked in Supermarkets that I have ever come across and I have recommended it highly to family and friends who love cinnamon. Thank you Mouths of Mum’s for letting me trial and give my opinion!
