A little rainbow after the storm for David Bowie's family

David Bowie’s son announces late father was to become grandad.

One month after David Bowie passed away, his son, Duncan Jones, has announced he is to be a father for the first time.

The 44-year-old tweeted the news.

Congratulations to them all. It is nice to have a little rainbow push through the dark clouds at this time.

I was filled with hope when my Daughter announced that she was pregnant a while after my husband passed away but sadly she went on to lose the baby. I believe that the bub is with my husband.

I believe in one person passing and another arriving – certainly not in their place, but it’s just the natural scheme of things. This is a lovely surprise and something that can bring joy to their lives again.

That is a lovely way to announce a pregnancy. Its sad bub will never meet his grandfather but I’m sure he will be surrounded by love and be told stories of his family history.
