When a half-striped zebra is blamed for the drought he leaves his herd in search of his missing stripes. He is joined on his quest by an overprotective, sassy wildebeest and a flamboyant, neurotic ostrich, and defeats the sadistic leopard who has been terrorizing all the animals of the Karoo.

  • Meerkat; they could keep lookout for hubby when I’m tucking into my chocolate stash


  • A chimpanzee, as it’s very similar to humans, it’d be fascinating and fun to interact with. It’d easily assimilate with our family.


  • I’ve always dreamed of adopting a monkey after seeing them learn sign language, play games and paint. It’d be just like a hairy toddler!

  • A Zebra, it’d be the only animal that coud fit comfortably in the backyard and also not hurt the pets!


  • Meerkats, they are so adorable and would be a joy to have around.


  • An elephant to ride to the shop on, would be so much more fun than just going in the car.
