Thanks to our friends at eOne, 20 lucky winners will each receive a DVD copy of Pride valued at $34.95 each!

Pride tells the incredible true story of a Welsh mining community struggling to make ends meet during the 1984 miners’ strike, when hope arrives with the unlikeliest of allies – a group of gay and lesbian activists who decide to raise money for the miners.

A rousing British crowd-pleaser in the spirit of Billy Elliot and The Full Monty, starring Bill Nighy and Imelda Staunton, Pride is a funny, affecting and truly inspiring film about two seemingly opposite communities who unite to form an extraordinary bond.

Available to own on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD March 4.

  • shameless is housos meets love thy neighbour in a bogan extravaganza filled with raw power and tenacity thats cutting edge realism making my youth look like the girl guides

  • I would have to say the full Monty is a fav because it is about regular people doing what they need to to survive with humour and guts (& it was hilarious) xx

  • Some mothers do have em, it is an absolute classic but also mother and son, I remember being a girl watching it the lounge with mum and my brothers, brings back such good memories.

  • I love Mrs Browns Boys, this was the comedy that picked me up from my dark days and turned my life around. (although i know it is irish, i still hope it counts!)

  • Mrs Browns Boys is a real classic. Honest and down to earth. Full of belly laughs with the things she comes out with. All my friends and family watch it. These days we need light and laughter in out lives with all the doom and gloom that goes on

  • Death at a Funeral … I have never had so place a fist in my mouth to stifle my laugh in a cinema like I did at this film.

  • “Bridget Jones’s Diary”, as it’s my favourite comedy. I could empathize with Bridget, as my personality is a lot like hers. She’s a very endearing, funny and warm character. I’ve always loved this very entertaining, hilarious and touching story.

  • The mighty boosh – I love random humour and Noel Fielding is GORGEOUS

  • My favorite is such an old one. “Step-toe and son” I was in stitches with the old man.

  • My kids & I adore Mr Bean. He is so ridiculously silly and gets into funny situations. He often doesn’t have a clue about simple day to day tasks and manages to mess things up. My kids watch the DVD’s over and over again. They never get sick of it.

  • IT Crowd. Funny situations and a great interpretation of how IT are treated in the workplace. Funny guys!

  • love actually even though its a romantic comedy it still manages to make me laugh.

  • Fawlty Towers….cant believe only a dozen episodes were written, each time I watch it, its like the first time…and now Ive eaten at a Fawlty Tower restaurant – the chef LEFT in the middle of dinner

  • My favourite British comedy has to be ‘Only Fools and Horses’ because I will never get tired of hearing ‘Rodney you Plonker!!!’

  • Little Britain! They take everyday “normal” things and just make them so much more interesting and lively! Makes me laugh every time!
