  • Safety First; lock doors and cabinets with chemicals and medicines, supervision, smoke alarm working and of course safety gates…And a post it note for Dad when left alone with the baby!

  • Our little has just started crawling so we have constructed a barrier to keep her little fingers away from the electrical cords and tv cabinet. I constantly have at least 1 eye on her as she’s quick!

  • I have got my eye on my babe, from time to time though..all mommas need a break
Whether its cooking meals, or just having a very quick shower; at times like this, having a convertible playpen to keep the little ones will be great

  • Constant vigilance and the use of baby gates for stairs

  • when my daughter was younger I would sit her in a washing basket with some toys while I cooked dinner. She was able to be near me but I wasnt worried she would crawl near the oven or get under my feet and I could still keep a close eye on her. She loved it…until she learnt to climb!! Now she has a small table and chairs in the kitchen and she will “help” cook or do some craft while i get food prepared.

  • Charlie is a very active 4 months old. He’ll roll from one side of the room to the other and grab everything along the way. This ingenious play pen gate will keep me sane when he starts crawling, it’s impossible to baby proof an enire farm.

  • Engage or contain! If her curiosity satisfied then she responds to ‘stop’ when approaching a danger (like chewing on a power cord). But if we can’t engage with her she is most definitely contained in a strapped in chair/rocker/pram.

  • Have eyes in the back of my head and have to supervise him at all times so a play pen will give me the break needed :)
Make sure the house is clutter free so they wont hurt themself

  • I give them space to explore and learn while keeping an eye on them it teaches them to be safe now and in the future.

  • make sure there is nothing in reach that she could pick up or swallow or hurt her self, by removing anything that is in harms way. Kids proof safe room.

  • As hard as it is supervision is the best way I keep my little ones safe but unfortunately you can not always have your eyes on them. This play pen would be ideal for those times when they can not have your 100% attention.

  • With baby gates ect and always keeping a very close eye on them

  • we use the safety locks of the draws

  • Wrapping him up in bubble wrap and not taking my eyes of him. I’m sure he’d appreciate this prize to loose the wrap!

  • 1/ doors always locked
2/ anything breakable is at the height of the kitchen bench
3/ by me having lots of chocolate inside to keep me sane
