I never had a baby shower but the most useful gift was a change table.

These look great, but speaking from experience, it’s a nightmare to store these nappies! Easier for mum to be to just give boxes of nappies. I didn’t get any weird baby gifts. I was surprised to get one from my dad as he said I should get an abortion when I first announced my pregnancy to him

great looking cake made from diapers going 2 make this one because my son and girlfriend is going 2 have a baby on June 2nd 2017 so I think I’ll make one 4 them don’t know what they’re having yet so I’ll decorate it in yellow that be 4 both a boy or girl great idea never seen this before

I never understood the point of nappy cakes.

I’ve seen one of these before, but only the finished product. It looks great, but I’ve been known just to include a pack of nappies in with my gift. I think nappies are the best gift as you need so many of them during those first months and onwards.

I think the idea of the nappy cake is wonderful. I saw these cakes for the first time in The Netherlands, a lot of years ago, and I found them not only very helpful, but so cute too!!

What a fantastic idea! And they look incredible! Might have to give this a try for the next baby shower I attend.

got to love a good nappy cake! – I especially like ones where people get so creative they make them look like animals – can’t say I ever received one with my two nor have I made one – will keep it in mind though
