Spice up the kids lunchboxes with a sandwich they won’t complain about – sushi sandwiches! They’re cute, easy to make and are perfect bite size pieces for the kid’s lunchboxes.

What you’ll need:

  • bread
  • spread of choice
  • fillings of choice

Method:

  1. Cut the crusts of a piece of sandwich bread.              YT bread

  • We love fun finger foods particularly on the weekends.

    • I have an excess of cream cheese that would be such a good filling in these sandwiches.

  • Very clever idea and easy to make with various fillings that your family would like. A modern idea.
Many years ago I used to make personal pizzas by lightly toasting a slice of bread, smearing it with tomato paste and sauce, and whatever topping my child liked on a pizza. Worked a treat – just like these bread sushis would do. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • This is so good!
I’m not sure if my bub likes cream cheese and peanut butter is a no no to bring to daycare. Will try and see if butter works as well.
Thank you so much for sharing. This is such a great idea. Might try and make a dessert style one like fairy bread!
