Chain necklaces are like Christmas lights, you put them down nicely and when you come back they are completely knotted and tangled all by themselves!

I’ve had to throw necklaces out before that I were such a mess. No more though as I found a great way to untangle your favourite necklace using pins! Check out the video:

  • I have been in only a few dramas. Just requires some patience.

  • I haven’t experienced too many chain entanglements. The few I have had, I’ve dealt with by poking with a pin

  • I actually found this painful to watch …try sprinkling the necklaces with talc (baby powder) ..you can also use baby oil but it makes the necklaces way be slippery to handle I feel, sprinkle liberally with talc and then use the pin method if needed and they will be separated in a flash.

  • Ooh, every now and then I have a chain that gets really tangled. That’s where my fabulous and patient husband comes in. He will always fix it for me!

  • This is the way I untangle chains too. I watched the video because I thought there might be an easier way.

  • Gold chains are not the only ones. Silver “look” and sterling silver ones will do the same thing. It can happen even if the clasps are done up. Thick chains can twist and knot.
