While it was reported back in November last year that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were expecting their first child together, the couple have stayed ‘mum’ on the subject…until now.

Proud Dad-to-be Justin took to social media overnight to confirm his wife of 2 years’ pregnancy, posting this gorgeous photo with the caption:

“Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT. #BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow#WeAreTakingBets”

The expectant pair have always had a strong family focus, with Jessica telling Ellen Degeneres shortly after her wedding “It’s weird because it feels like almost nothing has changed, yet something that you really can’t describe, or something that isn’t tangible, has changed. It just feels incredible.”

Her sentiments were echoed by her husband, with Justin also telling Ellen “It’s nice to marry your best friend. It suits me.”

“Every once in a while I can catch a glimpse of her when she doesn’t see me looking, and I have this moment where I’m like, ‘If you never make a good decision…if you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life. You made one really good decision.'”

The couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary in October, with the notoriously private Timberlake posting:

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” –Ferris”
