Hello!

Hi everyone! I want to jump on the loom band bandwagon and buy a kit for my 9 year old step daughter. I have never done them before so it has to be adult friendly. Any suggestions from the wise MoMmies? Thanks

  • The bands are pretty much all the same and are available almost everywhere but we have had a couple of different boards and found the ones from Lincraft to be the strongest for when they start doing some of the fancier patterns.

  • They all look the same to me.

  • I have seen Them at the reject shop:)

  • You can get them everywhere and it doesnt matter if you buy the cheap or dear ones!! We have brought some of ebay because they have a bigger range and are cheaper!!! My daughter uses utube!!!!!

  • I think they are pretty much all the same

  • I personally like the original loom band but have not seen that much difference between the cheaper ones and if you are unsure if their interest is going to continue just make do with a cheaper one then if they become very enthused you can buy the original one, also look around for bands from some of the discount stores . YouTube is a great place to look for instructions of hundreds of patterns.

  • I bought my daughter a kit from big w. It is good and there are lots of YouTube clips with instructions. I would steer clear of the really cheap loom bands, we tried them and they kept snapping. Very frustrating for my daughter.

  • you can get cheap ones from like those 2 dollar shops, way cheaper then getting a set

  • never heard of loom band … googling!

  • Spotlight and toys r us has the original loom bands my kids love them it’s crazy.

  • Dont buy expensive like all crazes its here today and gone tomorrow or the day after

  • The craze now seems over in our house.

  • Have a look in your cheapie shops (Crazy Clarks, Reject Shop, Shiploads, etc) ~ they’d be your cheapest or eBay if you aren’t impatient :) There are SO many tutorials on youtube as well.

  • Rainbow loom and you can find it at any toys shop or Kmart.

  • I have seen these everywhere! I might get some..I just don’t know what they are used for..how to do it LoL.
