Hello!

One of my closest friends is the polar opposite to me, I’m quite geeky and out there. She is not. I always end up getting her jewelry. I want to do something different. She has everything but deserves to be spoiled and pampered, she is the most lovely soul you will encounter. Ever. Should I make something? Any suggestions on what to buy my friend?

  • Personal presents are amazing. The best gift I ever received was a handmade scrapbook of my daughters first year. I absolutely adore it. Maybe make a scrapbook of your friendship? Memories are the absolute best.

  • A gift voucher for something she would enjoy, maybe something you would enjoy together

  • Maybe take her to a high tea.

  • I would give her a gift voucher for her favourite store.

  • I’m sure your friend would appreciate anything you got them.
However I agree a hamper basket.
You can put in multiple items that she is interested in, things that mean something to both of you, things you can do together, beauty products, gift vouchers, the possibilities are endless!

  • Bath products always go well, especially when it means a time out for themselves.

  • Depending on what your friends interests are and what your financial options are the possibilities here are endless.
I’d definitely take the opportunity to gift her something unexpected i.e.. anything other than jewellery at this point :) and like one of the other answers here a pack made up of little (or large) items that she enjoys or perhaps has had the chance to try is often a appreciated one. Pin-interest can give you a lot of great ideas on how to package/put together some simples items to make a ‘wow factor’ gift.
Good luck and I’m sure they will love what ever you come up with.

  • A hamper of all her favourite things including pampering gifts and things she wouldn’t necessarily buy herself – maybe some things that have meaning to you both and your friendship.

  • What does she like? Maybe some nice tea and a tea cup. Or a plant/something for gardening. Some nice nail polish. Maybe even just cook a dinner for her family so she doesn’t have to? So lovely you’re wanting to do something lovely.

  • Find something special and handmade, like a shawl.

  • Gold Class cinema vouchers can be nice too and I think they also do food and drink vouchers if you really want to go all out!

  • Great ideas other mum.. looks like all the ones I would suggest have already been suggested

  • Like other mums have mentioned a pamper package, lunch and a movie, high tea, trip to a winery.

  • Perhaps a lovely birthday card telling her what she means to you then you could take her to lunch. She would love that! .I know I did when my best friend did this for me years ago!

  • A day out with your bestie would be a fun present. Start off with a good chick flick & then take her somewhere nice for lunch. It will make her feel truly special spending the day together.
