  • I had two large boxes in the loungeroom and when my daughter finished playing she’s put her toys/books back in the boxes.

  • We tried to keep it to their rooms, but somehow they’ve spread all over the house.

  • As babies/toddlers, we pretty much had toys on hand in every room. As they got older, they were just in the lounge room and their bedroom. As they got even older, it was just their bedroom

  • they are everywhere! in both there rooms, family area and theatre

  • my son’s toys are under his bed, lego table and his cupboard. they are all sorted in buckets. my daughter is the same, toys under her bed in buckets and small bins. im going to put shelves up on her wall so put plush toys up there so less bucket, more storage room. i cant stand toys not being used at all, so i go through them with my children asking if its worth keeping it or not. i sell them and give my kids the money to put it in their bank.
my house is small, my kitchen and lounge room is an open area so no toys here. they can bring toys out but must put it back to their room. my kids mainly play with their ipad so toys are very limit in their room. we try and go outside more often.

  • I have some toys in the lounge. but mainly her toys are in her room in a toy box

  • They are everywhere! Think I’ll check out some answers to see what suggestions others have

  • Mostly in their bedroom, outside toys are in a box in the shed. There are communal toys (games, toys that the whole family can use) these are kept in a cupboard in the lounge room.

  • We keep a selection out in the lounge then a selection stashed, we rotate them regularly- stops the toy explosion a little and makes the toys more exciting as they are not aleays out.

  • well they have a toybox in their room, lego in tubs in the lounge room and a outdoor toybox

  • We have a playroom filled with toy boxes :D

  • We are lucky enough to have a spare lounge room, so we turned that into the kids playroom. This is where the majority of their toys are. They have a tv in there for watching and a lounge. They do have a couple of things in their bedroom too but that’s more things that they will play with in their bedrooms I.e books, gaming, board games etc. it works well for us as we are not tripping over toys in our lounge room and their not making a ton of noise if my hubby and I are trying to have a conversation etc. but with their own toy room, we have made a rule that if they want to keep it, they must clean it too. So at the end of every day ALL toys must be put away and the room tidy. It works well!!

  • agree with another commenter there is where they should be and where they are

  • my daughters toys end up all over the place in our house

  • well, there is where I keep them and then there is where Little Miss spreads them!
