  • Hang them.upside down in the shed.

  • Hang them upside down in a ventilated room.

  • Dry them on a warm day outside.

  • I use to do this alot,l would hang them upside down and spray with hairspray,so easy!

  • I am certain my sister in law dried everything in her yard from clothes, to herbs to flowers. On a very hot/sunny day get a large tray or table if you have a lot of plants and dry them flat out in the sun . If it is a very hot day , you may even get them dry in less than a few hours .

  • i saw this really cool method where you can get these flowers preserved by getting them dipped

  • I only ever hang mine upside until dry and then spray with hair spray or the like. You need to cover them with something while drying so they don’t get covered with dust and stuff

  • My bridal flowers I tied up and hung upside down until they dried out you can get special frames to put them in too if you like

  • Hang them upside down in a warm but shady spot. Leave them there til they’re dry. Spray with a clear lacquer when dry to preserve. Should be good for years

  • I would be hanging them up upside down in a cool, dry area. The other tips sound very professional and like they know what they’re doing.

  • Payouts can dry them the old fashion way by pressing them shut in a book or by using a dehydrater .

  • Squash them in a telephone book

  • Hi all

    1. Strip excess foliage from flowers and cut stems to desired length (no shorter than six inches). To help flowers retain their color during the drying process, make sure to remove them from sunlight as soon as they’re cut. Hang flowers individually or rubber-band stems together to hang a bouquet.

    2. Find a dark, dry area with good circulation, such as an attic or unused closet. With unflavored dental floss, secure the bottom of the flowers’ stems to a hanger so that they hang upside down to dry. Leave flowers for two to three weeks until completely dry.

    3. Remove flowers from hangers and spray with unscented hairspray for protection.

  • I think if you look around there are services that can do it professionally for you so that special bunch of flowers will not get ruined. But i have been told if you hang the flowers in a certain spot where they will not get disturbed upside down like the others mums have said i love the idea of using the hairsray on them.

  • Thanks for the tip about online kits – will take a look. :)
