I use oral B toothfloss and Colgate toothpaste only because I was bought up on it . Having said that I still look for sales on brands such as Macleans etc…
I think all Australian bought toothpastes available on supermarket shelves are pretty much equal quality and benefits wise. There may be a difference in price, but tests about it. Avoid cheap imports found at the cheaper shops
Only benefit that I know of in our house is that the kids like the taste/flavour of the Colgate but not the Oral B so anything that keeps encouraging the kids to brush we’ll use.
Nothing, manufacturers, but watch sometimes some is imported and comes from india or other countries, I like the colgate tartar control, and I always make sure that it is made in Aust or NZ,
Have you ever noticed the little coloured strips at the bottom of a toothpaste, red, black, blue, green? Well they all indicate how good the toothpaste is for you. Black is the worst with green being the best. Green is hard to find or you pay a heap for it. Next option is blue which is what I use, followed by red.
I guess as long as you are brushing your teeth properly and using toothpaste it doesn’t really matter. Maybe choose one you like the taste of and then you might brush for longer.
There is no difference between brands of toothpaste and toothbrushes. All toothpastes have the same ingredients. You just need to look at how much fluoride is in them. Don’t get any brand that had more than .300 grms of fluoride. As for toothbrushes, it’s up to your preference of how it feels and works for you. Again, they all do the same job.
Thanks I’ve always used Colgate whitening or fresh breath and have always felt clean and refreshed so i think i will just stay with my current brand as well as i find i get bad breath from other tooth pastes
