Hello!

I am considering buying a thermomix, but as they are expensive, I wanted to see what other people’s experiences have been. Thanks

  • My mum bought me one as she thought it would make my life easier when I had my first baby.
I find it to be quite expensive ingredients wise as you cook everything from scratch. The portions aren’t family friendly either, especially if you have a hubby that eats a lot!
Also you have to pay for the Cookidoo subscription each year which is the thing that has all the recipes you cook from in it.

  • I can’t really advise you as I don’t have one. I don’t have the money and feel I can live without

  • My husband bought me one. I wasn’t convinced. They are good, but I found it to be quite noisy. And I already had all the other appliances so just saw it as a waste of money. I know people who swear by them and use them everyday. I didn’t use mine. I ended up selling it. Don’t miss it at all

  • it is a lot of money to cook in plastic – that is what I think anyway

  • At First I could see pass the Price tag, but i a few of my other machines died as i make alot of things from scratch due to allergies, i showed hubby a few you tube videos and he watched n thought about it and said get one
    TOTAL LOVE IT

  • Thanks for asking this question; following the answers with interest.

  • I’ve heard great things about the thermomix but I can’t justify the price tag to buy one :(

  • I don’t have one, but I have heard very good things :)

  • all my friends that have one say yes, i’m still not convinced maybe i’m too old fashioned

  • It is amazing. I’ve known about it for years and said I might consider getting one when all my current gadgets would breakdown. Well they have been slowly dying the week after I said this! I have had mine for 6 days and am so loving this beast and this is why I have had a completed turnaround and am in training to be a consultant. So if any of you would like a free demo, obligation free, no harassing sales pitches, no pestering…..ONLY A DEMONSTRATION …and sit back and enjoy the meals it will prepare for you. It is only through seeing what it can do that you can appreciate it. They also have a 12 month repayment plan currently which makes it easier for many to purchase. I am in Melbourne, my mobile is 0422 385 136. Thanks Carmel

  • I have always wanted one, but I dont think there is anything that expensive that is really worth it, when that money can be spent on better things that ONE appliance.

  • I’ve never even heard of this, learn so much through all u mums.

  • Ive been wondering the same thing too

  • I have one and it the best thing I have ever bought! I sold all of my appliances and just use it! If you are I he middle of having the discussion and are considering it now is the time. They have interest free payments on it at he moment so you can have it now and pay $40 a week for it!! You do have to work at it when you first get it to get used to how it works, but once you do it is sooo good!!!

  • I went to a demo and decided I could already make everything a thermo can do with appliances I already own. I already make a lot of things from scratch though. If a few appliances needed replacing then I may consider one.
