  • I have always had to stand on my own two feet so was never one that would ask for help but since my husband died I realised that I need help. I have found that most people love to help as it makes them feel good. Its a win win

  • A few very good points there! I’ve always had a problem with asking for help. I find it very hard to get it out if my head that just because I need help doesn’t mean I’m weak, useless or a failure. But I’m working on it!

  • I have such a hard time asking for help. Maybe I should explore the reason why it’s so hard for me to do so.

  • This is one of the hardest things to do – ask for help. But it is so easy to give help and to offer to help. I have friends who constantly ask me if I need help, but I never seem to be able to accept as I just don’t know how they can help. Will hope you share some thoughts on this dilemma too, Debbie. But this is being a great challenge.
