A mother was left shocked when her child was watching a CBeebies show and a presenter appeared to sing a swear word.
Presenter Chris Jarvis was in a playground on a scooter singing a song about a kite when the mum realised what he was singing sounded very rude indeed.
In the video, that she uploaded to Facebook, Chris is seen singing: “Imagine you’re a fluttering kite.”
Mum Lyndsey Mann, 25, told The Sun, “I wasn’t really taking any notice of what was on the telly, which was on while I was tidying up, but then I just heard that word, so I rewound the show because I couldn’t believe it.
“And then every time I replayed it, I just couldn’t hear anything but that word.
“At first I thought it was really funny because it was just a shock, but if my little girl who’s two starts saying that in public it’s going to make me look really bad, so it’s quite annoying – she wouldn’t know any difference.”
Unfortunately the pronunciation instead made it sound as if he said: “Imagine you’re a fluttering c***” leading to some outraged viewers. Their Facebook page has been hit with loads of “please explain” from angered parents.
“I swear I keep trying to hear him say KITE but it’s just C***,” said one viewer adding a multitude of laughing emojis with the words: “Through and through.”
The show posted on its official Facebook page: “It’s kite everyone, kite! We make shows for your little ones so it’s always going to be kite.”
