Oball have voluntarily recalled it’s popular rattle sold in 2016 due to choking hazard.

Oball Rattle Models 81031 and 81548 sold after January 1, 2016 are affected by this recall.

The rattle beads may release from the clear bead chambers, posing a choking hazard for small children.

The recalled products have three clear plastic disc shaped bead chambers, one of which has five (5) orange beads.

Affected product:
Oball Rattle Models 81031 and 81548 sold after January 1, 2016. No other Oball products are affected by this recall.

Description
The recalled products have three clear plastic disc shaped bead chambers, one of which has five (5) orange beads. Only rattles with date codes T0486, T1456, T2316, T2856 and T3065 located on a small triangle on the inner surface of the rattle are included in the recall.

Hazard:
The rattle beads may release from the bead chamber, posing a choking hazard for small children.

Sold exclusively at
Major retailers worldwide and online after January 1, 2016.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled Oball Rattle away from small children and complete a registration form to apply for a refund. Upon completion of the registration, you will see instructions on how to submit a photo of your recalled Oball to be eligible to receive your refund.

  • Quickly had to check ours as although bubs doesn’t play with it very much anymore, it’s still in use, and was bought early 2016! Luckily it’s not in one of the affected batches though :)
