Have you ever wondered what happens to you and baby in Week 35 of pregnancy?

Here is a detailed list of Week 35 pregnancy facts:

  • The fetus is now putting on weight each day in preparation for birth and now fills most of the uterus.
  • Baby now does body rolls due to limited space.
  • Your baby is now 44.5 centimeters long and weighs 2.3 kilograms.
  • At this stage of pregnancy, you will need an additional 200 calories per day in your nutritional plan.
  • It is perfectly normal to feel very tired and fed up with your pregnancy at this stage.
  • Discuss any worries with your doctor.

  • Not long to go now, at our 34 week scan last week baby weighed in at 3kgs already! Hopefully he’ll arrive a little earlier as his brother did at 36 weeks, otherwise who knows how big he’ll get! ;)

  • i had my first child at 35 weeks and also had a 3 hour labour which was incredible

  • I had, had my bub by this stage and I’m just looking at the stats – he was 48cm
    Long and 7 pound. I just wonder how big he would have been if I had of had at 40 weeks and not 35 phew.

  • getting close now..have sooo enjoyed these updates..thanks Amelia. PS i think we will all look forward to week 40 and maybe expect a big fanfare. lol.
