  • Cheaper alternative

    4.5 out of 5

This is a good alternative with the soaring price of living, I also find it to be much less fatty than traditional mince which is a bonus

  • Delicious

    5 out of 5

I love chicken mince, it is a great healthier alternative to beef mince. It has a great taste but don’t forget to season. Great when making sausage rolls or meatball.

  • Tasty but dry

    3.5 out of 5

This is a good mince. I use it for chicken pattys or fried rice. While its got good flavour i fund it quite dry so you need to add sauce.

  • Absolutely great to have in the freezer

    5 out of 5

Chicken mince is so affordable and the kids absolutely love it,, they prefer it to regular mince once you flavour it it’s great especially for rissoles, chicken tacos, spaghetti so many uses and a great price.

  • Good Value

    3 out of 5

Not bad for chicken mince, it is affordable and you get a good amount for what you pay for. I do prefer the mince meat from the butcher but this isn’t bad.

  • Chicken meatballs tonight

    4 out of 5

Used it tonight for dinner to make meatballs and everyone loved it. Never had an issue with freshness and freezes well which is a must in our house.

  • Not keen on

Got this and just could not even eat it myself and cooked for dog she liked it.

  • Rissoles = yum :)

    5 out of 5

I have recently discovered the joys pf whipping up a batch of chicken mince rissoles with coriander, thyme and sage in them. This mince is perfect for my recipe.

  • Great

    4 out of 5

Chicken mince that is Australian made is the best way to support the economy. I only use this to make rissoles but really should try to cook with it more often

  • Australian Chicken Mince

I make Vietnamese style Rice Paper rolls stuffed with Asian condiments with the Australian Chicken Mince as the base. It’s worth learning how to make them. Once you learn this, you will be making them all the time.

  • Great option

    4 out of 5

The chicken mince makes for a nice change, we notice the difference but not in a bad way. It’s great in spaghetti bol, making patties and even replacing diced meat in chicken dishes.

  • Mince

    2.5 out of 5

Chicken mince is a great staple. I do find the woolworths mince does have a fair bit of water weight in it therefore doesn’t offer the best value for money.

  • chicken meatballs

    4 out of 5

Fantastic to easily whip up tasty chicken meatballs and to be able to add some sneaky veg into them for the kids. Also works week in a chicken lasagna or chicken bolognese.

  • Ok for cooking

    4 out of 5

I have only used this in chicken noodle sausage rolls. Use mince, a packet of chicken noodle soup, grated veg if being sneaky then roll in puff pastry and cook in the oven. Great snack or party food.

  • Fatty

    3.5 out of 5

I am not a fan of chicken mince unless for chicken patties. This mince is very fatty and not the healthiest option we could choose

  • Rubbish

    1.5 out of 5

Tried this as i needed turkey mince and they were out. This is tasteless. Bland. Gooey and gross. And when it cooks the consistency is just weird!

  • Great mince

We add this to a pork and chicken pattie recipe with rice and it turns out great everytime we love the flavour it works and its delcious

  • Different

    2 out of 5

I bought this to try as something different. It was not really a success in our house. Perhaps because of what it was paired with, but I think mainly due to the taste. Will stick with beef thanks.

  • ok but didn't grab me

    2.5 out of 5

Chicken mince was ok for something different but I did find it hard to get some recipes that I thought would be ok… (no one felt like the chicken bol, or chicken chilli) so it was patties and burgers.. which were surprisingly ordinary and needed chilli sauce etc… I also wondered what bits of the chicken were minced up… didn’t taste great.

  • Great and different

    3.5 out of 5

My children were always used to beef bolognaise, when I changed to chicken mice bolognaise they loved it. It makes for a less greasy meal and so tasty!

  • Versatile

    4 out of 5

Chicken Mince is so versatile – it’s great for making Thai chicken cakes, fabulous in mexican enchiladas or tacos for something different to beef. Goes really well with an easy home made fried rice too.
