Whenever we go on camping trips we like to have a good range of food products in the camping kit for consumption. We do like to drink Ovaltine because it has a mild taste that is good to drink either hot or cold.

A great childhood memory. We have it sometimes as a treat for flavoured milk, we would have it more often if there was less sugar

Its not bad. If you have got no other options you can go for it but is not the best ofcourse but serves the purpose

Ovaltine in other countries is wonderful. The Australian produced Ovaltine is a death trap. There is way too much sugar in it than is necessary rendering it unhealthy.

I actually really like Ovaltine drinks. They’re really good super cold with heaps of ice then another sprinkle of the powder on top. It’s so good on hot days – my kids and I love it.
It tastes just like crushed Ovaltines just more in milk style.

This powder made decent hot chocolates but def not my fave. It’s creamy smooth and pleasant tasting. Obv high in sugar but goodluck finding one that doesn’t

love a nice warm cup of this as it is delicious and a little bit different to other chocolate powders. It reminds me of the Ovaltine chocolate discs that come in a packet and are yum to eat as well.

This is such a great drink, especially for people who need to drink more milk in their diet, its a great enticement. Love the taste it’s different to other choices on the market. Definitely a unique taste.

there is some thing missing in this one ..the new Ovaltine Chocolate Powdered Drink. it feels it lacks some thing. maybe try it when on specials.

As a kid I used to love ovaltine. The ovaltine you by now it seems completely different. The taste is nowhere near as nice as it used to be and it doesn’t seem to dissolve well in milk. It has a hard, gritty, gravel like texture now. Sadly it’s not something I will be buying any more. I wish they would bring back the original

I don’t know if it just me but I find that this is really hard to mix with the milk, I either have to pour a dab of boiled water to mix the powder into first or use a blender, otherwise the powder floats on the top

Kids didn’t mind it, hubby wasn’t convinced one way or the other. I wasn’t overly impressed. I think it’s lacking something, but I prefer Milo.

Yesterday bought the new Ovaltine for only $2.50 promotional offer and was very surprised it has changed for the best . Instead of just tasting sugar when mixed in milk it is now very similar to Milo and it taste nice with hot or cold milk with the crunch without the taste of sweet sugar like the old formula. The jar is no longer bright orange in colour but brown and really glad I bought it as the kids even approved . It also has added vitamins/minerals so I know it is healthy as well as tasting good .

When I was a child (many moons ago) I used to have milo and ovaltine combined in a glass of milk…best of both worlds really.
Any how a couple of months ago I purchased a container to take away on holidays because it was compact, and had a screw lid. Boy was I disappointed when I opened it and tried it for the first time in many many years, the consistency was different, the taste was different, ok I know I am different too but this product just did not do it for me. I should have just tipped some of our milo from the large can into a sml container and taken that. Love milo but very dissatisfied with ovaltine.
