I’m lucky enough to have a son that loves diving. So we get lovely seafood at times. I really think this is a good way to cook these.

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 1 Crayfish
  • 1/2 tsp Minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Butter

Method

  1. Split crayfish in half. Rinse in fresh water.
  2. Lay each half meat side up, on a baking tray, spread a small amount of minced garlic over tail and body. Melt butter and drizzle over tail and body.
  3. Bake in oven on approx 170c till cooked through. Bigger crayfish will take longer to cook. Serve with salad or rice.

  • Can’t go wrong with these ingredients.

  • I love this. So simple but totally tasty. I don’t think good food needs to be fancy or over complicated. Sometimes it’s best to just let the seafood natural flavour shine through and this recipe allows that. Wish my son loved to dive and bring me fresh seafood but he’s only 9 so maybe one day 😉
