Easy to make great for xmas


Ingredients (makes 25 )

  • 2 cups sweet biscuits , crushed
  • 1 cup dried mixed fruit, chopped
  • 1/2 cup desiccated cocount
  • 3 tbsp rum
  • 1/2 tin condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • extra cocount

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients, adding rum and enough condensed milk to the mixture to make a firm dough. Roll into balls about one tablespoonful of mixture. Roll balls in extra coconut and placevin fridge until firm. Eat and enjoy
  2. For extra flavour, chop the fruit and soak in rum for a day before making the rum balls. Double the recipe for more rum balls

  • Yum! Yum! Yum! I think it’s time to bring these out again this year. I won’t use rum though, just extra chocolate… and maybe add some mint!!
