Will have to look into this.. have had a break from reading for a few years but am getting back into it…. sadly have been disappointed by all adult fiction I’ve ever read.. swearing, romance, more swearing, ugly characters, even uglier non-existent plots, more romance, and many long-winded, unsatisfying, predictable and tedious, unreal, non-believable story inventions… maybe I’m hard to please!

It’s always good to know what books others have read and enjoyed.

I love to read as well. It is great to have a list like the 101 books to work with otherwise it can be hard to know what to read as there are just soooo many books out there!

I love a good book too! I tend to buy mine 2nd hand tho, much cheaper. When I’m finished, I pass them onto my other book loving friends. We often swap books and pass on reviews of books we’ve read.

Yes, its a great list and the books are so easy to source. Nice time for presents for children of ages different to mine.

Yes, I saw it too. And my favourite author (Monica McInerney) is in the list too, number 55, with “Hello from the Gillespies”. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it!!

    I think I will join our Local Council Library. It is about 15 minutes walk – good exercise which I need and it will be a great incentive
