Budget Meals Recipe Section on Moms'

Lately I have been reading and answering many posts on food and budgets and have noticed a pattern of people wanting to know about recipes on a budget. There are some great answers and ideas for food and menus and recipes. I simply love posting recipes on the Mom’s section of this site and love sharing my recipes and also discovering new recipes from other Moms’. Some of the recipes are truly decadent and delightful; however; I would also love to have a separate recipe section on Budget meals. It is getting harder and harder to stretch the budget for groceries and in particular food bills. It would be useful for Mom’s to have a ready and handy reference section for meals on a budget; including mains, desserts, snacks and treats. Being able to stick to a budget and save some money is so terribly important for a family. What do other Mom’s think of this idea?

I would love a budget recipe section.
It is so hard with a new bub and down to one wage.

What an excellent idea, a new section full of budget recipes. Easier then searching the whole lot of recipes. I’ld use it

That’s a great idea. Grocery and food prices does seem to be going up.. Even the trusty mince beef is now $2per kilo more than it was 6 months ago!

well i think that is a great idea. We make spag bol and put leftovers into toasted sandwiches and get more value from the meal.

I think the MOM Team are trying to make the recipes easier to access, this would be a wonderful inclusion. Well done.

Love this idea! With every new bill that comes in the budget has to stretch a little bit more and this would be really helpful.
