As most grand mothers I just love my little grand daughter and can not resist buying clothes for her. As soon as I see that there is a sale on I have to go and check it out – just in case there is something suitable for my little treasure. My daughter jokes with me that I have a problem and that I should join Grandma’s Anonymous! The last sale I went to I noticed another lady about my age looking through the clothes. I asked what size she was looking for in case I came across any and we got to talking. Apparently I am not the only one – she said that her daughter told her she was addicted to buying clothes and that she also needed to go to Grandma’s Anonymous. Nice to hear I am not alone :)

  • My first grandbaby is due next year and I’m addicted too. I don’t know the sex, but everywhere we go, I’m on the lookout for baby clothes, toy, knick knacks. I’m loving it!

  • Pretty sure it’s a grandma’s right to spoil the grand kids!

  • You could make a FB group called that. With this you could swap ideas and lots of other things. I don’t see anything wrong with buying things, as a nan myself but I do look at things that I will give them as gifts not just at anytime.

  • I think it’s wonderful you want to spoil your Gran daughter. I would love for my children’s Grandparents to take a greater interest in our children. On both sides there isn’t a big excitement when it comes to the gandkids. So I say good on you, my grandfather would do little things like that or a boiled lolly jar and they are some of my fondest memories.
