I bought a Volta from the Good Guys for $200.00 and am happy with it. I’m sure you will find good vacuums for under $150.00 – try the Good Guys, Godfreys, or Harvey Norman.

I would honestly save a get a shark, nothing compares. $150 or less wont have great suction.

In addition to the comments posted below, you could always go to product review and then go on ebay. Godfreys do sell cheap vacuum cleaners but I can’t account for the quality.

I don’t have any advice on a model under $150 unfortunately but if you can in any way afford it I absolutely recommend a Dyson. I’ve never had such a good vacuum cleaner before. We moved into a rental just recently and the amount of dust and dirt it picked up I could not believe. I know the advice isn’t particularly helpful if you can’t afford it right now, but definitely something to look at in the future

Thank you for the suggestions and I have tried to get a replacment filter with no luck it is a hard plastic piece that lives inside the dusk compartment and I haven’t been able to get a replacement one.

I agree with the other ladie, i would see if you can get ahold of a replacement filter, that would be your cheapest option by far! if not i don’t have any other recommendations other then Dyson, nothing else comes close to a dyson IMO

I would call the distributor to see if I could replace the filter. Also you could check if replacement parts are available online. Good luck.
