There’s an important video that has been doing the rounds on Facebook that could save your life – literally! You could use this video as a tool to teach your kids the recovery position.

Wooooow

I found this video very powerful and incredible how the child moved the adult into the recovery position before seeking help.

Do your kids know what to do if they found a person unconscious?

Show your kids and get them to practice. Hopefully they’ll never have to use it but if faced with an emergency, they’ll be armed with the knowledge to help you or someone else.

  • it would be great if kids were taught the first aid course at school. Get the knowledge out there to help make more capable citizens

  • What a great idea! we all do the first aid thing but then forget that sometimes we’re the ones who need it!

  • Have immediately shared this as a couple of weeks ago when my mum was babysitting my son, she passed out. We are now making sure he understands when and how to ring 000 and what information to give them. Teaching him this also would be really beneficial. I think knowing what they are to do, will really help a child in an emergency situation such as this.

  • A powerful message – we had a friend who had epilepsy and so this training would have been good to have had in those days.
