Shoe lovers will have a field day in London tomorrow if they lurk in Kensington near a British Red Cross charity shop. It’s your chance to own a little piece of the Beckhams, as the couple have donated eight boxes of their clothes – and a shoe mountain courtesy of Victoria – to the Shop Drop for the Philippines campaign on Nov. 22.

“David and I urge everyone in Britain to join us in supporting the Shop Drop for the Philippines campaign,” said Victoria in a statement. “Everyone has something in their closet they were holding onto – a dress, suit, or pair of shoes they thought they might wear again. Dig them out, bag them up, drop them off and give someone else the chance to buy them. You’ll be raising much-needed funds for the Red Cross’ aid effort.”

She posted a photo of herself sitting amidst the boxes of packed clothing. The designer labels, including Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo and Roberto Cavalli, will be sold at the Kensington and Chelsea branches of Red Cross shops.

More staggeringly, she managed to dig out an absolute truckload of shoes for the campaign. “Big clear out of my shoes,” she captioned it.

Check out Victoria’s shoes. Can you imagine owning that many?

  • Love the shoes, I imagine she had room to store them!!, imagine going thru them and sorting them out, but good on her for getting rid of them and decluttering, I am sure she is collecting again, but with her profile she would get a lot of these as samples anyway so she would not have paid for them so at least some good is coming from it.

  • Lucky people who were in the shop and were her size when her things appeared on the shelves. I dare say a lot of her shoes would have been gifted to her in the first place but congratulations to her for being so generous and encouraging others to follow her lead.

  • I’m pleased they donated their unwanted designer goods to charity – Imelda Marcos springs to mind when I see all those shoes.
