Here are 5 easy ways to get this happening:
1) Embrace kissing daily
And I don’t mean a quick peck on the cheek as you run out of the door for work.
I mean a lingering, sensual delicious pash with eyes closed while in each others arms. Pure intimacy right there.
2) Cuddle often
Cuddling increases feelings of safety, security, trust, strength, healing, self worth, belonging, happiness and appreciation.
3) Just sit and be together
At the end of each day sit with your partner, hold hands and take turns discussing your day.
Make sure you really listen when it’s your partners turn to share as that is so important when communicating and increasing intimacy.
4) Spoon in bed
For at least some of the night anyway! Studies say that hugging encourages bonding by increasing the levels of oxytocin (happy hormone) in the body. Wake up happy!
5) Allocate time
Make time at the end of the week to sit down and discuss with your partner your highights and frustrations for the week. Express it and then let it all go. Start each week fresh, free of the past.
