Want Kardashian hair – then this is the one for you. Although Dutch braiding has been around for a lot longer than the Kardashians! If you can plait then you can do this hairstyle. It can take a bit of practice to get your fingers going the opposite way to normal plaiting but once you get the hang of it, it’s super simple.

Material

  • 2 elastic bands

Method

  1. Section three strands of hair on each side of your child's temple.
  2. Instead of passing the strands over each other, plait them as normal but pass them under each other.
  3. Continue gathering hair from each side and passing under the three strands.
  4. Tie off the ends with an elastic.

  • I always wondered how to do these types of braids.
I’ll need to practice on someone so I can do it on my toddler when she has thicker/ longer hair.

  • Pretty much two French plaits, that’s what I’ve always called them anyway. A style of plait I have never been able to do
