This is the softest play dough you’ll ever make and the best bit – no cooking on the stove.

Material

  • 1/2 cup shaving cream
  • 1/2 cup corn flour
  • 2 drops food colouring

Method

  1. Mix together equal parts shaving cream and corn starch in a bowl.
  2. Roll out on to a clean board then knead it until it starts to form dough.
  3. Add a few drops of food colouring to colour it, then knead some more.

Notes... Add more cornflour if the mixture is too wet. Add more shaving cream if the mixture is too dry.

  • I passed this on to my friend who has primary school aged kids and they absolutely love it. They made a huge batch and split it in to loads of different colours for their daughters unicorn themed birthday party and it kept the kids amused for ages!

  • This looks great. Would have to keep it away from my 8 month old though so might wait until she is older and can enjoy it too.
