How to fix simple dents.


Material

  • 1 Dent
  • 1 Heat gun
  • 1 Rubber mallet
  • 1 Small block of wood
  • 1 Steam iron

Method

  1. Heat up the dented area with the heat gun eg bumper bar
  2. Hold small piece of wood behind the dent
  3. Use rubber mallet to hit dent against block of wood
  4. Iron out dent until smooth still with wood behind
  5. Let cool down
  6. Touch up paint work if necessary

  • Depending on the bump and where it is, this is a real money saver!
