Hello!

This storage box is very handy for small items like scissors, watches, tweezers, and even pens. It doesn’t take a lot of time and is a great holiday activity for kids to add colour to their room and keep things readily available.

Material

  • 1 cardboard box
  • 3 cardboard toilet rolls
  • Paper cuttings, different designs and colours
  • 1 glue

Method

  1. I picked up a rectangular box - I used cereal box, cut to the height of a cardboard toilet roll.
  2. Decorate it with all kinds of designs you like...newspaper cuttings, magazine cuttings etc. I used hearts and lines. Stick these with glue. You can even use beads and stickers.
  3. The box can be used just like this, but I like to place the toilet rolls inside the boxes, so as to give the base some strength and helps me segregate my stuff neatly

Notes

Kids can even gift these to their friends when they come over :)

  • You can never have enough storage boxes. I still use the ones I first decorated years ago to store my daughter’s toys. Now they’re used to store her school books.
