Hello!

This is a very easy one even for miss 3. I’m hoping to try star patterns this Christmas.

Material

  • 1 Aquadhere
  • 4 food colours
  • 6 lids
  • 1 pk toothpicks

Method

  1. Place lids on an old newspaper or inside a low box to catch any spills. Cover the bottom of the lids with glue. I use an eye dropper to drip the food colour on the glue but the smaller food colours are squeeze bottles so drip without help. It only takes a few drops around the glue and then swirl it with the toothpicks.
  2. The colour will spread as the glue dries. You can swirl a few colours but don't over mix or you just get black. These will take a few days to dry before removing from the lids. The kids like to find driftwood to hang them from with fishing line.
