  • All of these are making my mouth water. We’re spending a few days down the beach so our meal options will be simpler as there will only be 3 of us. So, not much fuss.

  • Unfortunately I’ll be sleeping. I’m on nightshift so will have to have a special breakfast instead. Probably sausages and eggs

  • The proposed increase in prawns is because of diseased prawns being imported from overseas. In some cases tiny ones have been used as bait and have contaminated prawns in other waters.
    Over the years there has been some heated debates whether Pavlova originates from Aust. or NZ. I don’t care which it is.

  • I always get tasked with making ice cream sandwiches and I always come up with a version that is a tribute to the celebration. This year I am making lamington ice cream sandwiches… stay tuned!

  • Australia Day is my son’s birthday so we will have what ever he decides, he is 3 this year so I am thinking probably chocolate and popcorn and apple juice (arple juice) hahah

  • Yummo! So many scrummy foods to be devoured on Australia Day. Can’t beat a BBQ and salads
