Looks like you CAN have chocolate for breakfast! These chocolate and peanut butter overnight oats make a delicious breakfast or easy snack on the go.

  • 40g oats
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 125 mls almond milk
  • Maple syrup (to taste)

All you have to do is combine all the ingredients in a container and leave in the fridge overnight and the oats will be ready for your breakfast.

How good do these look!?

  • Oh wow, what a delicious combination of ingredients! A cheeky treat that’s not too bad for you! Yum! Love the easy to follow video, makes it simpler.

  • I am wondering why you need to add maple syrup to this mix, when you are using peanut butter and chocolate, surely the peanut butter & choc has flavour not to mention sugar.

  • I really love this and have made something similar-but without the peanut butter and choc chips. I was wary of having cold ‘porridge’ as such but it is just so lovely. Really nice in summer.

  • Have seen these around and the only thing I keep wondering is it eaten cold. Not sure about cold oatmeal, maybe it can be hearten up.

  • This looks like something to try – make ahead for the road trips when you leave early and then have breakfast on the road.

  • This is lactose free for those who can’t digest the sugar in cow’s milk

  • A great recipe that sound’s delicious!

  • Yummy another recipe I am looking forward to trying.

  • Oh! I am going to try this one. Look good!!
And you could use almond butter or macadamia butter instead of the peanut butter.

    • There are so many ways to enjoy this recipe by adding to it for sure. :)

  • The best way to start the day is with yummy oats.

  • I am onto these. Will most likely leave out the choc chips and I’ll have myself an ideal start to the day

  • Awesome, my kids would love this !

  • these sound life changing cannot wait to try these! yum!
