Looks like you CAN have chocolate for breakfast! These chocolate and peanut butter overnight oats make a delicious breakfast or easy snack on the go.

Ingredients:

  • 40g oats
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 125 mls almond milk
  • Maple syrup (to taste)

All you have to do is combine all the ingredients in a container and leave in the fridge overnight and the oats will be ready for your breakfast.

  • Video not working but definitely sounds like an interesting mix. I love chocolate, but funnily enough, I don’t consider it for breakfast in any way.

  • I am wondering why you need to add maple syrup to this mix, when you are using peanut butter and chocolate, surely the peanut butter & choc has flavour not to mention sugar.

  • I really love this and have made something similar-but without the peanut butter and choc chips. I was wary of having cold ‘porridge’ as such but it is just so lovely. Really nice in summer.

  • Have seen these around and the only thing I keep wondering is it eaten cold. Not sure about cold oatmeal, maybe it can be hearten up.
