  • According to my 9 year old daughter, I am her inspiration because I inspire her to keep singing and dancing.

  • Lexi Reed or fatgirlfedup as she is known on social media such an amazing woman who lost 285 pounds in 18 months naturally

  • My mentor was my Aunty. She was so wise and always so level headed. As a School Principal she had a great way with kids and could explain things so well at all levels. She was always so kind to everyone and taught us tolerance, patience and to there is always a way to do things better

  • It would have to be the editor of a fitness magazine who has taken me under his wing simply by seeing my passion for writing. I do not have an official degree in writiting but he has given me the time and knowledge to write for magazines published nationally.

  • My father has inspired me to be selfless and caring to anyone that I meet, that the world needs kindness so I try and live everyday like this.

  • Safe to say my mum. She has always gone out of her way to ensure we have the best opportunities in life but make sure we have the skills to tackle them ourselves.

  • My mum- i am trying to be like her-kind to everyone, strong and hardworking and knows how to forgive others.

  • My amazing Mother is my mentor. She struggled in an abusive marriage, toiled and fought for us all the way and managed to provide us with amazing opportunities whilst sacrificing so much.

  • A work Colleague who gave words of encouragement at work , and she didn’t realise she was doing it. She is now my best friend and she is now giving me encouragement with issues in life, sometime people do it with out realising their effect on people.

  • My nursing educator….I was ready to give nursing up and quit 6 weeks in…she encouraged me to stay and stick with it as she too had gone through sane thoughts. So glad I did as now I love nursing.

  • Although she is five years younger than me, my sister is the best person I know and has taught me so much about life, self belief and relationships. I look up to her in many different ways!

  • My mum is my mentor – as a single parent she did everything she could for my sister and I. She is an amazing grandmother and teaches me how to raise and nurture my kids just like she had done for me in my childhood.

  • My mother, she sacrificed a lot for me. Bringing up a child by yourself is hard, we didn’t have much money but I had all the love in the world, for that I’ll forever be grateful

  • My mother. She has always taught me that to be strong, compassionate, smart and giving. Amazing qualities to aspire to.

  • My grade 1 teacher, Mrs Green. She was so kind and supportive, always encouraging when we thought we just couldn’t do it. I thrived in the school environment thanks to Mrs Green
