WIN 1 of 25 copies of A First Time for Everything by Tiffiny Hall and Ed Kavalee, Illustrated by Anil Tortop, thanks to Allen & Unwin.

A hilarious and relatable story that perfectly captures all the messy, glorious chaos of a baby’s first year, from two of Australia’s best-loved TV and radio personalities.

This is the story of my family – first-time Mum, first-time Dad, and me. I’m a first-time baby.

We’ve never done this before… but I think it’s all going smoothly.

Sometimes parenthood isn’t picture-perfect. But from first nappy change to first words, it’s full of love, laughter and unexpected moments.

25 lucky winners will receive a copy of A First Time for Everything by Tiffiny Hall and Ed Kavalee, Illustrated by Anil Tortop, valued at $19.99 each

  • Any Mem Fox book tickles my fancy, but Koala Lou is extra special. It brings back special memories of reading this to my children.

  • The rainbow fish because I have read it since a child and now I am reading it to my children. It is a beautiful classic.

  • Possum Magic by Mem Fox, its a childhood favourite I can still remember and now I like to share with my child

  • ‘I’m Australian too’ by Mem Fox. It shows children about multiculturalism and how versatile our country can be as well as teaches about our nations animals.

  • Animalia by Graeme Base because it’s the most logical, alliterative, fun and creative way to teach children their ABCs and learn about beautiful animals – 2 birds, 1 stone!! (pardon the pun with ‘Birds’!). The front cover of the book is so appealing, plus learning about nature is integral for kids.

  • Possum Magic, the book was replaced twice because I made everyone read it to me so much!
