  • Of course i did my nanna brought it for me. It was my best friend and called Cabbie she went everwhere with me! My daughter would love one as well cause she is a little mother hehehe babies are her life!

  • I had a cabbage patch kid when I was about 12, a little later than most but my grandmother purchased one for all the granddaughter, her name was Rebecca and she’s still at my Mums home.

  • My mother used to beat me with a belt with a metal buckle until my legs bled. Then I had to stand in the corner for an hour. When the ordeal was over I would hug my Cabbage Patch doll (called Marina) and cry into her, making her quite wet.

  • I had a girl called Roberta, she wore a swimsuit and I took her in the bath most nights. Her legs and arms eventually fell off which was handy, as I was able to “dismember” her and sit her next to the heater post-bath to dry out in winter!

  • I grew up long before Cabbage Patch dolls but I was fortunate to have several dolls as a child ranging in sizes from 3 feet tall down to 9 inches. I loved to dress them. I think every little girl deserves a good size doll, not a skinny Barbie.

  • I had a cabbage patch doll named Frank and I had another one (a premie) called Thomas and they were so cute. My best friend from school still comments about them. They are a great gift and something they will remember when they are older.

  • I would like to gift a Cabbage Patch doll to my child because I could technically own one at 32 without it being weird!

  • Mine had beautiful, brown hair and was named Erin. I took her everywhere with me. I’d love for my little girl to share the same memories with her very own cabbage patch doll, as mine made me the happiest little girl.

  • April Megan and it still hurts today. I loved that doll, she got me through, my grandfather dying 3 days after my 9th bday, 2 days later my dad left. A few weeks after that my sister was thrown out. But I had her to cuddle and fuss over, until my mum packed a few clothes and put it outside (and me) she locked the door telling me she didn’t want me anymore and wouldn’t call my father. So I lost everything that mattered to me in a few short months, April Megan was one of them.

  • I had a cabbage patch kid and I used to take her everywhere! Her name was Alice, she had brown hair and I dressed her in my old little dresses from when I was a baby.

  • My childhood friend kindly gave me her brown haired Emily Cabbage Patch Kid when she got a new one. Sadly I lost it in all our house moves. I would love to give one to my daughter.

  • I’m too old to have had one growing up! As a mother and grandmother of only boys, I would love to gift one to a little girl who has been a victim of domestic violence. I would do this through the organisation RizeUp, as I am a volunteer with them.

  • I always wanted a Cabbage Patch Doll. Having something special and unique that no one else has is something that every child should have.

  • I never got to have one as a kid but my neighbour did and I remember playing with it all the time. I even got to borrow her for sleepovers. Would love that those experiences for my daughter.

  • I remember my daughter Rebecca had a Cabbage patch kid (Sarah) she took Sarah every were. I love that memory of Rebecca and Sarah and would love Rebecca to have the same memory with her daughter Annabelle.
