  • My favorite tradition was the sixpences in the Christmas Pudding that my grandmother made having to give them back was not so enjoyable

  • Christmas Eve, we attend the family mass followed by a family dinner at a local restaurant. This is always followed by driving around to do the Christmas lights while the kids have an icecream. By the time we are home, kids are ready for bed so we watch the carols while drinking egg nog!! Couldn’t be better!

  • The mandatory game of back yard cricket following Christmas lunch when everyone has indulged in far too much celebratory food.

  • Inviting my daughter’s friends over for a festive bake off. It’s expensive, it’s bloody messy but it’s so much fun and I’m enjoying it while they still want to be seen with a Mum!

  • every year we drive into our nearest town 20 mins away to look at the Christmas lights, being farm kids any lights at night amaze my children but the Christmas lights take the cake!!

  • My favorite Christmas tradition is watching my son open his Christmas presents from us and also Santa on Christmas day and seeing his excited face when he opens the presents, either clothing or toys he is so happy and grateful for what he receives.

  • Creating a photo bauble for our Christmas tree every year. We also have name ornaments including our pets making for a very unique tree.

  • Getting the family together on Xmas eve to celebrate as we always have done, have a big feed, give the kids their presents sit back and relax.

  • Late night wrapping and assembly adventures and on Christmas Eve with Mr Claus! Anticipating the children’s excitement and the early rustling of wrapping paper as they poke & prod before everyone’s up. Then watching them give their dad and I their handmade cards and explain their magical drawings!

  • Since my daughter was born we always put out treats for Santa & his reindeer. Beer & nuts for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

  • My favourite tradition would have to be putting the Christmas tree up on my birthday every year. It’s a tradition done all throughout my childhood and is now becoming a tradition within my household.

  • I wasn’t raised with any traditions for the Christmas season other than gift giving, so, I would like to create some traditions for my family and Little Advent Boxes can help my children have happy memories.

  • Looking at the lights and decorations. We go for an evening drive so we can get full enjoyment at seeing the bright lights

  • Singing Christmas carols is my favourite Christmas tradition.

  • Family gatherings are always my favourite tradition because seeing all the children playing together excited about the time of year is so heart filling!
