  • Volunteering with my family at our local community kitchen, getting busy on our feet cooking yummy dishes, then serving the warm dishes and soups and desserts to our special friends in need of a great Christmas. Teaching my kids about kindness and empathy is something that I’d forever cherish everyday!

  • Friends and family are certainly diverse but good food, drinks, fun times and lazing by the pool are all universal languages of enjoyment :) That’s how we’ll be celebrating this festive season


  • My husband has 16 brothers and sisters all adopted from across the world (Nan and Pop were the original Brad and Angelina :) ) We love getting together and there are a few new nephews this year. Its a beautifully diverse family just doing what all families do, eating, laughing and loving.


  • This year I’m Enjoying Christmas with my son and daughter as we experience at turducken and enjoy the weather and being with each other.


  • We have a tió, the pooing log. To make it poo presents we beat it with sticks, while singing various songs of Tió de Nadal.


  • First pressies of course, then we will be going to the beach and have Christmas dinner with my beautiful friend.


  • We will be celebrating with our daughter for lunch and then going to extended family for dinner and having a nice swim after we have eaten.


  • We spread Christmas festivities over several days to accommodate everyone. It’s great because we get to spend more one on one time with everyone and it’s not overwhelming. Some of our celebrations are at our place, some at other homes, and some over Skype or the phone.


  • We will be celebrating by having a big pool party round my brothers house with our big blended family.


  • Eating way too much food, teasing each other, watching our kids play and fight and after a big Christmas lunch heading to the beach in the afternoon.


  • Picking cherries, eating mince pies, opening presents and swimming in the pool with our extensive extended family. Crazy busy but we wouldn’t have it any other way.


  • We celebrate with my ex and my wife’s ex and all the children


  • We will be celebrating by having an amazing family breakfast. Everyone will be there, Aunties, Uncles, etc to share in a cooked breakfast with pancakes as a desert. We set up the Christmas tree out the back for the presents to be placed under.


  • This year we will be honouring our mother and grandmother, Joyce, as it is our first Christmas without her. We will be playing barefoot bowls, eating trifle with too much whiskey and sharing our memories.
