  • Travel is so much fun. We always try to go together. Our best adventure was a six week trip to Hong Kong, Italy, England and Paris, with two other families with kids (built in entertainment). Educational and fun. History…..theme park…..pizza………museum……theme park……..Gelato…….art……..theme park…….pasta

  • The best adventure we had as a family was making our way across the USA! Theme parks in California, Broadway shows in New York, Alcatraz in San Fran… Not to mention some crazy fun in Vegas! Now to start saving for Europe!

  • We did a road trip along the coast which was fantastic because we stopped at lots of different and interesting places along the way – there wasn’t one single complaint from the kids either!

  • Nothing will ever beat my first holiday in a caravan when I was 12! Forty-three steps from the beach, every part of it exciting and interesting and new! Not to mention the fun we had diving in the waves when my uncle lost his false teeth!

  • Bali Safari! I was our first time in Bali and Bali Safari was an exceptional experience! It’s nothing like a zoo and you feel submerged in magic of the local environment and animals! Our children absolutely loved it so watching them learn and discover in such an amazing setting is something I’ll never forget!

  • Adventures can be in foreign lands (riding elephants in Singapore zoo!)
Or in the backyard, having fun, no matter what you do.
Slip’n’slide, laughter and fun – defining adventure doesn’t require a dictionary
Only thing that is always there with us? Natural Confectionery!

  • First holiday we did with the whole family (me, my brother and sister, all our kids, Mum), we did a cruise together and it was a week of craziness and fun adventures. Highlights were visiting the islands, enjoying ships waterslides and dance parties on deck, so many beautiful family memories.

  • Hollybank in Tasmania was just the best,
Tested the whole family, fear was expressed,
Mum was the most frightened with the biggest protest,
Flying fox among the trees, as the heights progressed,
Way above the ground, up where the eagles nest,
Was an awesome day and family adventure that impressed.

  • Our yearly Moreton Island trip we had with friends (pre kids) Conjure up some of my favourite memories. Camping with 25 besties in one of the most beautiful spots in Australia, FWD during the days to lakes, lighthouses and surf beaches. Afternoons picking fresh oysters straight of the rocks. Then watching the sun go down whilst sipping wine, chatting and listening to tunes on the dunes. Always so much laughter, sun and love. We all felt like we were the only people on earth. For a week anyway.

  • Playing board games last Easter. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. The great thing is you are just hanging out together, eating, cooking and keeping out of the cold.

  • My son Miles and I took a trip to Bali a few years back. What I enjoyed most about the trip was the experience it gave Miles, it was his first overseas trip. The excitement on his face is inprinted in my memory and still makes me smile when I recall it :)

  • We climbed the Harbour Bridge for Vivid last week,
    Yes, the weather was bleak.
But gee, the climb and the lights,
It was a real adventure and a delight.

  • Setting off in our caravan to explore the East coast of Australia all the way to Cooktown, was our biggest family adventure. It was always the unexpected, random things that turned out to be the highlights!

  • It’s about to happen. A bucket list trip to London in 2 weeks time. It’s a surprise for my kids – they don’t know & will be told when get home from school the evening we fly out!

  • Me and my friends volunteered with turtles, we had so much fun helping to release hundreds of babies into the ocean, like with newborns it was alot of night work but such a rewarding adventure
