A teenage girl was targetted by cruel bullies, who doused her with juice on her prom night, ruining her dress and turning what was meant to be a magical evening into a nightmare.

Emilee Perry, a 16-year-old from Doncaster, UK, had to be convinced to attend the school dance at all, according to her mother Tracy Perry.

In a heartbreaking Facebook post, Tracy shared photos of her daughter in tears, her dress completely ruined.

“This is my beautiful daughter who suffers with anxiety whom we had to beg to go to the prom this evening,” she wrote on June 29.

“Two hours later I collect her from the prom like this, heartbroken and in a state.”

A series of photos show Emilee beaming in a sparkly silver and pink dress and then in tears, after her night was ruined by the heartless bully.9

“This ‘person’ thought it a good idea to pour a full jug of juice over her and soak her from head to toe. I hope one day someone humiliates and devastates her like she has done to my daughter!!!” the furious mum wrote.

After taking to Facebook to share her daughter’s story, messages of support for Emilee and anger for those who targeted her came flooding in. The post has been shared more than 1200 times.

After receiving thousands of messages of support, Emilee took to Facebook herself to express her gratitude.

“Wow, I just want to take the time out to thank each and every person that has gone out of the way to absolutely shower me with love and support!” the teenager wrote.

“It is greatly appreciated and I will most certainly be eternally grateful for the extremely unexpected outcome of this situation!”

  • People are so cruel. I really hope karma gets that bully x3!!!
She looked absolutely stunning and I love her outfit. I’m glad she was able to see all of the support people had for her.

  • Gorgeous girl, don’t let these jealous people get to you. They don’t have anything good in their life that’s why they have to try and ruin other’s lives.

  • Shameful behaviour. Poor girl, getting all dressed up to have the time of her life, and they go do this.

  • Bullying should never be tolerated. What consequences did the bullies receive for this trick? I’m glad Emilee has received a lot of attention and will gain some strength from the love and support.

  • Hoping Emilee uses this to build her strength and resilience. Karma will do its work but she should hold her head up and keeping moving forward. Bullies are a waste of effort

  • I hope one day the bully ruins her own special event. I doubt she will think about the girl whose special night she ruined.

  • How lovely did she look!! How mean, nasty and ugly were the actions of the girl who tried to humiliate her, I would hope she was the one left feeling humiliated at her own horrid behaviour.

  • Obviously an act of jealousy … she looked stunning and someone couldn’t seem to handle that! So pleased she has been shown so much love and support, and I hope this doesn’t increase her anxiety ….

  • What a stunning girl.
Very sad there are disgusting kids like those who bullied her.
I’d be making a trip their parents house and giving their parents a heads up on what filthy brats they have raised.

  • Emilee you are such a beautiful girl and did not deserve this. I hope the person who did this to you gets what they deserve. She probably did this because she knows you are so much better than her. Hold your head high because you were the belle of the ball.

  • I’m heart broken for her. If I was her mother I would find out who did this and demand they pay for the ruined dress and apologise to her. I’d probably take her out of that school too.

  • Firstly, such a beautiful girl! I am amazed how cruel some kids can be and are pretty disgusted at their actions. Having a child with anxiety I know first hand how hard some situations can be and that their confidence is severely affected by anxiety. This poor girl must have tried so hard to get over her anxiety to go to her prom only to have this happen. It’s going to take her a long time to get over this and be confident again, if ever.

  • Firstly, I feel for you Emily. You are a beautiful person. A prom is a place where you should have been able to enjoy yourself. I’m sorry this has happened to you.

Secondly – I’m sorry, but the only way to get back at bullies is to stand up to them, this includes naming and shaming them. I’m sure the school prom would have been supervised by teachers or other adults. I certainly hope that the bullies were reprimanded for their behaviour as well as being excluded from other events in the like.
