Hello!

Hey mums and dads, you’re going to love this! We’ve just discovered the most amazing range of toys that your toddler will absolutely love! This is the one gift that you should be giving your kids this Christmas.

So let me tell you more. They’re called LeapBuilders and they’re designed by the clever team at LeapFrog toys, who are well-known for creating toys with that little something extra – toys that are educational but full of fun.

LeapBuilders are not your average run-of-the-mill building blocks – these are smart and can actually talk. This means that your little ones can interact and learn while they build.

Interactive Fun

We all have big intentions to teach our kids to count and recognise colours before they can even crawl. But somehow life gets in the way and it just doesn’t happen. So I love that LeapBuilders can step in as a super-fun teacher, all the while, disguised as a toy.

LeapBuilders is centred around the SmartStar units. Everytime a block is placed into the SmartStar unit, it lights up and responds with music or learning phrases, with themes including numbers, fruit, insects, colours and more.

Engaged

It’s no secret that a toddler’s attention span is short but LeapBuilders manage to keep young kids engaged with all sorts of activities – building, stacking, giggling at the sounds, listening to the music, pulling blocks apart and putting them back together. So much fun!

Improving Skills

While the kids are engrossed in playing, LeapBuilders help to sharpen their developmental skills – improve their hand-eye coordination, building and counting skills as well as encourage their creativity, imagination and role-play.

There are four different sets of LeapBuilders and they are all compatible with each other. So you can build up your collection until you have them all.

Let’s take a closer look at the different sets:

LeapBuilders Phonics House

Little builders can pretend to pop on their hard hats and construct a delightful home with more than 50 pieces, including two play people. Children can follow the simple instructions to build a house, robot or train, or use their imagination to build something else entirely. Slide one of the 20 double-sided blocks into the interactive SmartStar Unit to learn letter names, first words, sounds, colours and shapes. Press the question, music and number buttons for even more learning fun. LeapBuilders Phonics House plays more than 80 songs, melodies, sounds and phrases.

LeapBuilders Wild Animals will respond with over 120 phrases, sounds and songs whenever one of the double-sided blocks is inserted into the interactive SmartStar Unit. Press the learning and music buttons for even more learning fun.

LeapBuilders Fix-It-Truck

Little mechanics can construct two cool vehicles and a whole lot more with these 30 easy-to-hold pieces. Children can follow the simple instructions to build a crane, truck, or a train engine or use their creativity to construct anything they can imagine using regular and movable blocks. Slide one of the 15 recognisable blocks into the interactive SmartStar Unit to learn colours, numbers, tools and counting. Press the learning and music buttons for even more learning fun. LeapBuilders Fix-It-Truck plays more than 100 songs, melodies, sounds and phrases.

LeapBuilders Elephant Adventures

Children will learn about fruits, numbers, colours and insects while building this 21-piece elephant set. The elephant will respond with over 115 phrases, sounds and songs whenever one of the double-sided blocks is inserted into the interactive SmartStar Unit. When they are finished, they can follow instructions on the included building cards to build a shop or combine with other LeapFrog block toys to learn and build in different ways.

  • You used to be able to buy a large pack of Lego with instructions to build several items at a reasonable price. Buying the separate kits can be really expensive.
