Article Pregnant Missy Higgins Rushes Off Stage During Concert

Missy Higgins, who is pregnant with her second child, had to stop mid-concert on Sunday and rush off stage.

The heavily pregnant singer was belting out hits during a gig at Anita’s Theatre in Thirroul, south of Sydney, when she unexpectedly left the stage.

She later apologised and revealed that she simply needed to use the toilet, according to The Daily Telegraph.

‘That was incredibly awkward… That has never happened to me before,’ she reportedly told the crowd upon returning to the stage.

Her backup singers were forced to improvise for several moments and began singing ‘Missy is doing a wee.’

We have all been there, Missy!

  • This always happens at the most inappropriate times – I’m sure most in the audience would be appreciative of her concert and not hold it against Missy Higgins at all.

  • Yep it happens when pregnant with regular frequency! I saw her in concert and she was just fantastic – such a talent.

  • Hahha, wow, laughing with you Missy not at you. One of the worst things about pregnancy is how often you need to wee. And no, you just can’t hold it in!
