DIY no sew tote bag

What you’ll need:

  • T-shirt
  • Fabric scissors

Method:

  1. Lay t-shirt flat on a table.
  2. Cut neckline off.
  3. Cut sleeves off.
  4. Turn shirt inside out and lay shirt flat.
  5. Cut bottom into strips.
  6. Tie two of strips together and double knot.
  7. Repeat until they are all tied.
  8. Tie neighbouring knots together.
  9. Turn bag right side out. Bottom will look like this:
  10. Your bag is ready to use.

  • I make these quite often, amd have started handpainting them for an extra touch. They are strong and so easy to clean. Plus they don’t shed mictoplastics like supermarket bags.

  • It looks good, great way to recycle old shirts. But I would be worried it would break, not strong enough to hold much
