  • I could never find anything there at a good price. Always expensive. I do feel sorry for all of the employees who will lose there jobs though.

  • Didn’t snag any bargains was a very quiet closing short notice.

  • No Toys ‘R’ Us here. And generally these sales are just in store, not online. That’s a pity.

  • I went there it wasn’t worth it I bought some toys that big w had for a lot cheaper

  • I wish they were still selling online as there’s no store near us to get to.

  • Unfortunately, the online sale has finished and we don’t have a Toys R Us in our state, so I’ve missed out all round

  • Keep holding off ladies! They should bring the price down way more than that. Won’t be long. Sad to see them go though, they were expensive but some of their toys were really good quality and different to other store varieties.

  • I went in and it was a waste of time. Big W is cheaper normally and they have a sale with a much bigger reduction the really popular stuff was only 5% off.

  • I always thought Toys R Us was completely overrated. A toy store that had a pretty rubbish range and was super expensive, plus never anyone to help you when you needed it. Surprised they went for as long as they did!

  • Another business/franchise bites the dust… I must admit we don’t have one anywhere near us so I wasn’t a customer but feel for the staff.

  • I feel for the staff! But it was inevitable considering their higher prices ….

  • Not surprised at all. They were always so much more expensive than everywhere else. And the shipping fees they charged was ridiculous.

  • I have to say I’m surprised Toy’r’us has lasted as long as it has. I always found that it stocked exactly the same things as Target and Big W etc yet at higher prices. My thoughts are with the staff.

  • Had a look today and it wasn’t worth the trip. I went last week and there were better deals then. For example I got a Boon Travel drying rack for under $15. Today it was back at RRP $30 with a 10% off discount. Nappies has 5% the only thing with 30% was cards.
Such a shame they are closing, though that’s the price of the online world.
